เรื่องย่อ จากนิยายขายดีของ Stephen King ได้กลายมาเป็นซีรี่ย์แนว Science Fiction Horror ในชื่อเดียวกันว่า Under the Dome เรื่องราวที่เริ่มต้นจากเมืองเล็กๆที่เงียบสงบชื่อว่า Chester's Mill ซึ่งได้ถูกตัดออกจากโลกภายนอกด้วยโดมที่โปร่งใสครอบเมืองไว้ ไม่มีใครหรือสิ่งใดสามารถจะเข้าออกผ่านทะลุโดมนี้ไปได้ ชาวเมืองต่างวิตกต่อสิ่งที่พวกเขาไม่รู้ว่ามันคืออะไร และจะเป็นอย่างนี้ไปอีกนานแค่ไหน หนทางที่จะรอดคือต้องพึ่งตัวเอง เพราะไม่มีใครจะช่วยพวกเขาได้แม้กระทั้งได้ยินเสียงพวกเขา
